Our team live in the regions they operate within, and can take you to the best places, get the best people, props, hotels... you name it. If knowledge is king, then these folk are royalty!
LOCATIONS & SCOUTING
Locations are our lifeblood. We have a good database of locations of course, and we work alongside other organisations to bring you the very best out there. Here at GB we pride ourselves in bringing you unique and individual locations specific to your requirements, sourced by some of the best and most visually aware scouts in the UK. We can build and dress sets too of course, as well as take you to the best studios across the land.
BUDGET MANAGEMENT
We are very happy to look after anything from a small part of your shoot requirements to the whole caboodle. We can therefore look after you budget accordingly. Because we are based locally around the UK we can get you the best prices, because we know everyone! We are a Limited company, VAT registered in the UK. All accounts can be reconciled and receipted upon request.
CASTING
Dealing with model and talent agencies can be a full-on job, especially when negotiating on usage fees. You'll be glad to know we deal with it all the time and we work with the best agencies around the UK at all levels. So if it's a massive global modelling star/top actor or a walk-on you need, we can help. We can do online castings or set up casting sessions in suites up and down the UK.
TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION
We have hooked up with a specialist travel consultancy to bring us the best deals on flights, and have good working relationships with the best hotels across the UK. We can put you somewhere a little different too if you fancy it... glamping, castles, gypsy caravans...
SPECIALIST VEHICLES
Anything from ribs to argocats, cherry pickers to Cineflex helicopters, anything, we can get 'em. Not to mention of course crew and location buses, winebagos and airstreams, executive vehicles and expert local drivers.
EQUIPMENT & SFX
Cameras, lighting, grip and SFX. Again, anything you want we can organise it. Just send us your requirements and we can either put the kits together or work from lists, as well as provide top SFX folk with rain, snow, wind... no cheeky comments about the British weather thank you!
CREW
Beyond the expert personnel involved directly with Great British, we can bring in the best of any local, or national crew according to your requirements. Obviously good notice is generally required for the very top people, but we know enough good people to bring you the best available for your budgets and turnaround.
CATERING
We all enjoy good grub. We think it's an essential part of any shoot, so we are always updating our roster of caterers and because our producers are local, they know all the best places to eat drink (in moderation of course) and unwind nearby - often before they make it onto a review website. The important thing to say is that we know how to look after you and the other important people with you.
PROPS & BEASTS
We know a whole bunch of really good prop stylists and art directors who can transform your sets in minutes. Stage vehicles and trained animals (we've worked with pigs, tigers, white doves, you name it...) can be sourced for you.
PAPERWORK :-(
We all hate paperwork, but unfortunately it is now an extremely important part of any production. From NDAs to permits to property and talent realease forms, insurances and all the rest of it. We'll handle it all for you. Phew! We make sure you are covered, and we get the best legal advice through Abbey Legal. We deal with all that, and all you get is one piddly invoice.
Events
With a shoot can often come an event, or with an event can often come a shoot. So we thought... maybe a good idea to offer events too. Imogen is our events guru, read about her he re. So if it's a case of just treating a client at the end of a shoot, or putting on a whole launch event, we can handle it, while tying it in with other aspects of PR or corporate entertainment.
